Animation of 2006 Race Across America (RAAM) race

Since we only know the position of a rider when they reach a timestation, we don't know how far a rider has gotten beyond the last timestation they hit. Between timestations, we treat each rider as moving at their average speed between those stations.

The playback speed of the GIF version seems to vary greatly from machine to machine and browser to browser (runs very slowly in some versions of IE).
